2015-05-11 10:43:27

注意:1.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词;
In our life, we often regret what we did and which we couldn’t do. Actually, it doesn’t benefit us at all. As for most of us, we missed many chance to earn more money, to get a high position and to realize our dreams. We often regret that we don’t seize those opportunities, thus feel upset. Although we do know regretting the Past is no benefit, but we still can’t help doing it
To avoid the problem below, we need to pay more attention to what you are doing now, making us busier and having no time to recall the past. Moreover, we’d better set reasonably goals one by one. Only by doing so can we struggle for our future better.
注意:1.词数100 左右,开头语己为你写好;
Dear Editor-in-Chief,

Sincerely yours,

 Dear Editor-in-Chief,
Congratulations on the 5th anniversary of Global Mirror!
I’m a regular reader of your newspaper. I like it very much mainly for the following two reasons. First, it covers both national and international news so that, by simply turning the pages, I can learn all important things that have happened during the week. Equally attractive are the success stories of world-famous people, which help me understand how a person can work hard to make the world a better place.
As a young student, I suggest that Global Mirror carry articles to guide us in our English learning, and I hope that it will become even more popular.

Sincerely yours,
Li Hua

 (Text 1)
W: Did you see the football game on TV last night?
M: Well, I intended to watch it, but I slept through it.
(Text 2)
W: Excuse me, sir. I’m afraid you aren’t supposed to use a mobile phone during the flight. It will affect the systems.
M: Oh, I' m sorry. I didn’t realize it.
(Text 3)
M: If I were you, I wouldn’t interrupt the boss while he was in an important meeting. Wait until he comes back to his office.
W: He told me to bring his information as soon as it arrived, even if he was in the bathroom.
(Text 4)
W: I can’t believe I still have this pain in my leg. This medicine the doctor gave me was supposed to make me feel better by now.
M: Maybe you should take it three times a day as you were told.
W: I think you’re right.
(Text 5)
W: I don’t know why I let you talk me into going to see the film. I just don’t like violence.
M: I didn’t realize there would be quite so much. Despite everything, though, the story was good.
W: Yes, it was very exciting and well-written.
(Text 6)[:]
M: How was your dinner party? Did everyone like the food?
W: Um, it went pretty well until the sweet corn pancakes.
M: Oh, what happened?
W: Well, I thought I remembered how to make them, so I didn't bother to look in the cookbook. I mixed up all the flour, eggs, sweet corn, and sugar, and then tried to fry them. But they wouldn't stick together. Every time I tried to lift one out of the pan, it fell apart. They were a total disaster!
M: So what did you do?
W: I had some stuff in the kitchen to make some cakes instead.
M: Do you know what you did wrong?
W: Well, I checked the recipe later. I hadn't used enough eggs.
(Text 7)
M: Now that the examinations are over, we can start planning our trip to California.
W: Shall we go by air or by train?
M: We can get a discount on the air tickets. But they are still quite expensive.
W: Let’s go by train then. How many days would be enough for us to tour around?[:]
M: Two or three days, I think.
W: So it means we’ll probably stay there for two nights. We need to find a hotel.
M: I remember Helen told me she stayed in a hotel when she was there last year. It was cheap and very clean. And it’s not far away from the sea.
W: That’s great. We’ll have to ask Helen where it is.
M: Also I think perhaps we should search the Internet for more information about the city.
(Text 8)
M: Can you change some money for me, please?
W: Certainly. What is it you want to change?
M: Here it is: some Swiss francs and English pounds. You’d better count them.
