I had a really embarrassing experience at Beijing airport last week. I was returning back from a business trip to England and was extreme tired. I could hardly keep my eyes open as I collected my suitcase and start to walk towards Passport Control.
Before long, I became aware of someone shouted but ignored it. I was about to step forward to present my passport while a man tapped me politely on the shoulders. I had picked up my suitcase by mistake! At that time, everyone was watching us and I felt deeply embarrassing. In the end the gentleman, Mr. Xu, kindly accepted my apology to my mistake and we shook hands, smiling happily. However, I will more careful next time.
