Various people have various opinions about public transport. Some love it, some hate it and other have no choice but to use it. If everyone could own their own cars and drive themselves anywhere they wanted, we could have more traffic jams on our roads. This is why public transport becomes important. Although getting good and comfortable public transport may be a bit troublesome, it’ll save you lots of money in the long run.
The use of trains is a common way of traveling in the UK. This is especially so for people traveling from London to Paris. The most common trains that are used are owned by the Eurostar Train Service. There are about 20 Eurostar train that leave London every day heading for Paris. The good thing is that the trains take about 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach their destination（目的地）.
Many people in London prefer to take trains. They consider traveling by train one of the safer methods of traveling on the ground. Car or bus accidents happen every day on the roads. It’s rare to hear of train accidents. More importantly, a train has to have many safety checks before it’s ready for service.
Trains in London are quite spacious and provide comfort for their customers. You’ll find that some of the trains have table where people can work. Some of them even provide places to charge laptops(便携式电脑) or mobile phones.
It’s faster to travel by a train compared to a bus or even a car. When you travel with a car or a bus, you’ll often have to slow down for various reasons including speed limit and traffic jams. However, when traveling by train, the speed is almost constant and there is no traffic jam on rail track.
